Medication Management Services

 Healthy Minds Consulting LLC is proud to now offer psychiatric medication management services — a long-awaited addition designed to bring accessible, high-quality mental health care to our local community. We understand that traveling out of town for psychiatric services can be difficult, and our goal is to make support more convenient, collaborative, and personalized.

All medication management appointments are provided virtually, allowing clients the flexibility to receive care:

• From the comfort and privacy of home, or 
• Virtually from one of our Healthy Minds Consulting office locations for additional support and convenience 

Medication management may be utilized as a standalone service or integrated into a collaborative treatment approach alongside therapy services. We believe the best outcomes happen when medication, therapy, education, and supportive relationships work together to support long-term healing and wellness.

At Healthy Minds Consulting, we are committed to safe, responsible, and evidence-based psychiatric care. Our prescribing philosophy emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, client education, conservative prescribing practices, and collaboration with your treatment team.

Please note that our provider does not prescribe controlled substances or narcotic medications, including but not limited to:

• Benzodiazepines (such as Ativan or Klonopin) 
• Sedative-hypnotics (such as Ambien) 
• Stimulant medications (such as Adderall or Vyvanse) 

Clients currently prescribed these medications, or seeking these medications, may be referred to another provider when clinically appropriate. We believe transparency is important, and these guidelines will be discussed prior to scheduling services.

We are currently accepting:

• Medicare 
• United Healthcare 
• TRICARE 
• VA Community Care 
• Self-pay clients 

We are currently awaiting credentialing with BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna. Please contact our office to check the most current insurance participation status.

• $225 – Initial Psychiatric Evaluation 
• $125 – Follow-Up Medication Management Appointments 
• $95 – GeneSight Testing Coordination for non-medication-management clients 

GeneSight coordination is included at no additional charge for current medication management clients.

Healthy Minds Consulting also offers GeneSight genetic testing to help reduce the guesswork involved in psychiatric medication treatment. This simple genetic test provides insight into how your body may respond to certain psychiatric medications, helping providers make more informed and personalized treatment recommendations.

GeneSight testing may help:

• Reduce medication trial-and-error 
• Identify potential medication sensitivities 
• Support more efficient treatment planning 
• Improve confidence in medication decisions

We also offer GeneSight testing coordination for individuals who are not currently receiving therapy or medication management services through Healthy Minds Consulting. This option is ideal for individuals working with outside providers who would like access to genetic testing results to guide psychiatric medication decisions.

Testing can be completed:

• In-office at Healthy Minds Consulting, or 
• Through a mailed-at-home testing kit for added convenience.
