Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work.
- An active, unrestricted license in the State of Alabama.
- Availability to conduct a min of 20 sessions per week in office
- Excellent rapport building, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Insurance paneling preferred
- Prior experience in a private practice setting is preferred but not required. We are happy to help support and mentor you if you are newly licensed.
- At least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, couples, divorce, blended families, EMDR, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.)
- A min of three modalities that you are competent and skilled in
- Acknowledge and embrace diversity and inclusion.
- Conduct client sessions
- Ability to come to work excited, positive and ready to enjoy the day.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide regular and reliable attendance at work. This is very important for the continuum of care for our clients.
- Attend quarterly staff/trainings.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics.
- Provide crisis stabilization to clients as needed.
- Communicate with client’s treatment team as needed (i.e psychiatrist, school, physician, etc)
- Submit, timely complete documentation on the EHR, for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required by Healthy Minds Consulting, LLC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner with the intention to maintain and increase rapport with the clients.
- Provide a professional demeanor that maintains the goodwill and reputation of the provider, Healthy Minds Consulting LLC and it’s affiliates.
- Maintain respect, support, and collaboration with co-workers.
- Communicate availability, conflicts, and changes with administration.
- Keep updated license(s) and liability insurance.
- Be a team in keeping our space beautiful and inviting.
- Participate in personal marketing stratagies
